To create this piece, white earthenware clay has been mixed with a variety of Mason stains to form balls of colors which are then rolled out, sliced and shaped into the hand built plate. The rim is added separately to provide a softer version of the plate interior. Finished with a clear, food safe glaze, this piece measures 11″ in diameter.
