I have a soft spot for Mexican pottery and love playing with the red earthenware surfaces as a backdrop for all sorts of creations. Flowers and birds and imaginary trees cover this piece, hand built and painted with pigments that are then sealed with a food-safe clear finishing glaze. Measuring 11″ in diameter, this piece can be used for pastas, soups, or, of course, a Mexican feast.
