These 4 lunch or dessert sized plates have been hand built from white stoneware and then impressed with grasses from my garden. After firing once, each plate is washed with a red oxide stain that is wiped away to leave only the patterns of the branches. The plates are then coated with a clear food-safe glaze and fired a second time. This process can be done with most any kind of vegetation to produce unique outcomes. Sold as a set only.
