Egg-shaped with a small opening, this Saggar pot was wheel thrown, bisque fired and then treated with ferric chloride, bits of bronze wool, pieces of seaweed, and dabs of iron oxide. Wrapped to Saggar fire, the outcome was surprising (it always is) as it has a kind of cosmic patina. Measuring 5″ high the piece is for flowers and decorative use only.
