As for pot 685, I threw this piece on the wheel and left an opening at the top to create an egg-shaped pot that was then coated with a Hyponex solution, a little copper carbonate dabbed on, sprinkles of red iron oxide, salt and patches of steel wool.The piece was wrapped for Saggar and fired in the outdoor kiln. Finished with a light waxing, the pot measures 5″ in diameter and is to be used for flowers or decorative purposes only. ‘
