This pot is made of wheel thrown stoneware and measures 5″ tall. It was first terra-sigged, and then painted with ferric chloride and dabs of a Hyponex paste. I wrapped several lengths of copper wire around the piece to produce the impressions you see. After its Saggar firing, I buffed it to a low shine. It is meant for flowers or decorative purposes only.
