Copper wire and seaweed make an impression on this wheel thrown stoneware vase prepared for the Saggar fire. After terra sigging this 6″ high piece and giving it a first fire, the pot was painted with 2 coats of ferric chloride and then wrapped in the copper wire and seated in salt and seaweed pieces. I buffed it after to a low shine. Suitable for flowers or decorative purposes only.
