This wheel thrown stoneware vase has a slightly bulbous bottom and a lifted neck. Terra-sigged before the first fire, I prepared it for Saggar by applying a liberal amount of horsehair along with bits of seaweed and sawdust. The piece was then coated with ferric chloride and tightly wrapped for the outdoor kiln. It measures 6″ high and is to be used for flowers or decorative purposes only.
